The HDG Extreme Boat Dockin’ & Riverfront Festival, is the largest fundraising event for the non-profit HDGinBloom. This exciting new annual festival celebrates the city’s rich waterman’s heritage while raising funds for HDGinBloom, a committee under the Community Projects of Havre de Grace Inc., a registered 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to beautifying and maintaining the public gardens and parks of Historic Havre de Grace. Proceeds will also benefit the Lock House Museum and
other local nonprofits that preserve and grow our community’s heritage.
The festival’s main event is the Extreme Boat Docking Competition, where captains showcase their skills in this thrilling waterman tradition. Additional activities include a Dinghy Poker Run, Crab Races, family-friendly fun along the waterfront, and a Meet & Greet event in the evening to keep the celebration going.
